Tim Kentley-Klay

Co-Founder

Tim Kentley-Klay is founder of internationally acclaimed animation house XYZ Studios, ranked 5th in the World in 2013 by SHOOT Magazine, as well as boutique post production facility We Are Crayon.

Tim has always been focused on ideas and creativity. He believes an original idea should be realized through original execution. This philosophy has seen Tim work with the best agencies worldwide directing national and global campaigns for a huge range of well-known and prestigious brands.

Tim has won multiple awards for his work, and has been a key figure at many design forums and festivals internationally including 'Pictoplasma Berlin', 'Huesca Barcelona' and 'Formavision New York'.

Nick Bland

Co-Founder

Nick grew up in country Victoria, spending his childhood and teens in the bush. At a young age he decided to become a cartoonist and spent hours learning to draw.

Nick practiced his writing and illustration for several years before sending an unsolicited manuscript to Scholastic and 'A Monster Wrote Me a Letter', his first title was published in 2005.Since then he has written and illustrated 14 picture books, two of which have been the chosen titles for the National Simultaneous Storytime initiative in 2012 and 2013.

In 2012 Nick won CBCA Book of the Year: Early Childhood for The Runaway Hug, and scooped up 'Book of the Year for Younger Children' for 'The Very Hungry Bear' at the Australian Book Industry Award 2013.
